Because there are so many leadership courses offered to law enforcement, we have decided to conduct an extensive investigation into the effectiveness of leadership training. Of course, we believe that most leadership courseware is valuable, and we are confident that leaders do benefit from traditional leadership training.
The Leadership Academy course offers an extensive evaluation of each leader. Here’s how it works. Attendees will participate in breakout groups to discuss their obstacles with their colleagues. Here they may find some of the answers to the problems, and here is where they discover that they already had the answer. Section 4 is also very extensive. The attendees will address each identified obstacle. They are equipped with their own experiences as well as the technical help that was provided in the breakout groups.

It's Back, how we adjust our leadership to server-ship. It isn't easy, staying true to your convictions while managing others, and serving your community, but is does work. Cone and share in the trials and tribulations of leadership, "Lessons Learned, Opportunities Gained." This is not a spiritual retreat, this is leadership training, with the rigor that is expected in all leadership training. We just add a little concept of serving to our brand. You can serve in many ways, and in more ways than one. Importantly, you should always serve your rank and file; and you can also serve upward as well.. What does it all mean? Focusing on leadership principles and ensuring it's effectiveness. Building trust, Commitment, and Performance. Bridging the gap between citizenry and policing.

Here we will develop an understanding of what biases, stereotypes, and prejudices are. We will also discuss the fact that most biases are not negative, and that Behavior is the actual ‘Culprit’.Here we are developing an understanding of how the brain works in relation to biases. We also develop an understanding of how bias is a natural process from the beginning of learning. Cognition plays a huge part in how we process information, how we let undesired thoughts in, and how we inevitably behave. Each officer will develop an understanding of the different types of biases: Hidden Biases, Actor-Observer Bias, Anchoring Bias, Attribution Bias, Confirmation Bias, and Curse of Knowledge and Hindsight Bias. We will also discuss new categories of biases. While current methods focus on detecting the presence of racial discrimination on average, an unresolved challenge is how to identify discrimination at the level of the individual criminal justice agent. We will discuss the origination of bias, how bias evolves through certain exposures.
