Welcome

As a former Academy Director and now the Tactical Commander,  I've known Dr. Spencer since 2012, and with that encounter, he was as dynamic as he is today.  And what does he want?  He wants the best out of you at all times, no matter how high the bar, all times!  Some think his expectations are too high, and that the impossible is just that, impossible.  Not Dr. Spencer, he will never believe that and he will show you how.  The question is, will you listen?  He learns from all of us!

After training (The Leadershipwith Dr. Spencer, I asked him if he had more for us.  This was the first leadership training for me and the best person to teach it.  Dr. Spencer knew us, he could look us in the eyes and guide us and/or correct us.  This training came at a time when we were having some serious problems, and we needed some serious training for our supervisors, leaders and executives.  This was not just a tough class, it was fun, revealing and life changing.   

I would rate the Supervisor Training as a 10. The tools that were given will help me to accomplish the goals that I set for myself to advance in my career. I believe that everyone employed by OPSO should have access to this training. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been chosen to attend this training course. After leaving Dr. Spencer's training, I'm MOTIVATED, more POSITIVE, a lot more HOPEFUL, and most of all THANKFUL. This was my first leadership training. It was awesome!

 (10) (Academy Director) The Training was very informative; The Instructor was very knowledgeable of what he was presenting. I gained a lot of knowledge from this course. I began implementing my plan after the first day of class. There was not one boring part in his presentation.

I attended the Universal Differences Training.  This training was nothing like I expected.  Very provacative and thought provoking.  I have a much clearer understanding of my biases and how my biasses can turn into undesirable behavior.  I am working on this daily, always trying to keep myself in check.  This is by far, the best training and the best Implicit and Explicit Bias Training I've attended.  

Extraordinary agency!  We had an urgent situation and we needed training like yesterday. Within 3 days, a training team was onsite and we enjoyed every second if it.  Very professional, courteous, and training at the heartbeat of issues and concerns.  The things that were shared, with my people, was better received from DTC than our own staff.  This was very exciting, but challenging training.
